1 General rules
*1.1 If you are trying to divert players to other servers or to swap things with other servers will not be tolerated.
1.2
Do not use any offensive, illegal, dangerous, threatening, abusive,
vulgar, sexist, obscene, hateful, racist, and ethnical or anything else
questionable as speech and names.
1.3
Insults are not allowed in our game. This includes any form of
harassment, defamation, incitement and the like. Bashing against guilds
and individual players is therefore prohibited. We wish to have a decent
tone with each other. PvP smack talking is one thing but it tends to
get out of hand sometimes. Insulting staff members, examined as [ADM],
[GM], and [GS], will not be tolerated.
1.4
If you have a problem with guilds or individual players please contact
the support team with a ticket that contains all relevant information.
1.5
Be friendly and polite towards other players, do not affront or insult
them. Threatening and blackmailing other players is not tolerated.
Ticket if you believe somebody is not sticking to the server rules.
1.6
Please be friendly towards beginners in the game. All of us knew hardly
anything about when we started playing Shaiya. Treat every player like
you would want to be treated yourself.
2 In-game Chat
2.1
Repeatedly posting the same message in the in-game chat channels is
considered spamming and therefore forbidden. Posting links with no
relation to our server is therefore prohibited. Furthermore writing with
CAPS LOCK activated is undesirable in the chats.
2.2 Impersonating Admins, GM’s, and GS’s is prohibited. An excuse like “I was just kidding” is not an apology.
2.3 The primary language is English; speaking in anything else is undesirable in Trade chat.
3 Exploits
3.1
The exploitation of bugs is not allowed. This destroys both fun and
game. If you stumble over an error in the game please get in contact a
staff member.
3.2 Massive PvP
kill-farming agreements between opponents (stats Padding, Kills) and all
other activities to gain unfair advantages in the game is prohibited.
*3.3 Hacking of any sort is not allowed, examples are (but not limited to) wall climbing, speed, and duping.
3.4 Skill cutting, by using a teleport stone, jumping, etc. is not allowed.
4 Account Data
4.1
Every player is solely responsible for his own game account. Make sure
that nobody unauthorized gain knowledge of your game account data. This
means no Account Sharing, This can be cause for a perma-ban.
4.2 NO SCAMMING, if you are caught, appropriate measures will be taken which may include a perma-ban.
5 ADM, GM help
5.1
ADM’s and GM’s must NOT give items, gold or buffs to players. They will
not keep items for players, will not help farm or spawn monsters and
bosses at a player's wish. It is prohibited to transaction with Admins
and GM’s and to invite them into parties.
Events are the only exceptions.
5.2
Purchasing, selling, trading, offering and giving real items for game
items is undesirable, as well as begging for gold and items in public
chat channels.
5.3 Bugs and errors in the game are to be reported to a staff member. Exploiting bugs is prohibited.
6 Kill Stealing
6.1
We all want to play without disturbances. Please respect this and do
not steal other player's kills. Sometimes this may happen accidentally,
for sure. When they do, talk about the situation reasonably to find a
solution. Staff doesn’t need to be called-in for each accident.
7 PvP Areas (Maps)
7.1
ABSOLUTELY NO SPAWN KILLING, NO ENTERING OPPOSING FACTIONS BASE UNLESS
ITS AN EVENT, NO ATTACKING PLAYERS BEHIND CURTAINS OR GUARDS. This can
result in reduce of pvp kills, 3day ban, jail time, or a perma-ban if
you are caught consistantly repeating the offense. REMEMBER...."RED is
DEAD" but please be considerate of others and give them a chance to
recoperate their hp and rebuff before they die again.
Violating any of these rules will result in the following punishment:
1: Warning
2: Chat prohibition (player will not be able to chat in certain area(s) for a period of time)
3: Temporary removal (account will be unplayable for a few hours up to a week)
4: Permanent removal from the server with NO REFUNDS on donation items
5: IP ban
*Violations that skip straight to 4 or 5.
